HOW I WORK

I partner with ambitious teams and founders to turn ideas into standout experiences. I love research and strategy (former journalist here!), building frameworks, systems thinking, forging consensus across teams, and finessing the visual details. Most recently, I’ve designed for media, search, and healthcare.

SPEAKING & WRITING

I’ve given multiple conference presentations and interviews on storytelling and design. I’ve spoken at the Society for News Design, Investigative Reporters and Editors, Boulder Startup Week, the International Symposium on Online Journalism, and the Asian American Journalists Association.

Before becoming a designer, I was a staff reporter at The Wall Street Journal. I still write, though more on the personal side these days.
